Hey, I'm Zephyrzay. Sometimes I'm known and Zephyrsword or Obsession, but I don't mind just Zephyr. I'm 22 and I love Anime, Arts and Videogames!

I'm currently working on Moonlight and RWBYbound for Starbound.

Here’s hoping we’ll get some turnarounds of Neptune’s weapon in the near future! In the meantime, these are the 4 best views (for me, personally) of Neptune’s Weapon in each mode from Chapter 4 of Volume 2 (Stored, Railgun, Glaive, Trident)

Also I decided to hand draw Neptune’s weapon because I hate myself I wanted to study it and practice for some… very extensive future artworks, hopefully. I need to get a better feel for RWBY weapon design for the sake of my OCs.

If you want to reference my art, that’s fine, I guess, but take it with many MANY grains of salt. Especially since I drew the grip and barrel of the gun in the wrong spot in Railgun Mode because the barrel iS ALSO THE HANDLE OF HIS FRICKEN POLEARMS, I S2G MONTY YOU MAD GENIUS. There are also many other mistakes with my drawings but yeah. Hope you find it useful!

Thanks! I need some good shots so I can make the gun part of this.

Imagine this: You’re sitting in your animation history class. Your professor says that your classmate who sits two empty seats away from you is going to show his animation. Joy!

Then, projected ten feet tall in glorious HD, is an autobiographical piece about his life problems and his manic pixie dream girl purple skunk girlfriend. Complete with fade to black sex. And masturbation scene.

Imagine that and you will know a fraction of my pain.

holy piss

A friend requested I make this, and so here it is, and I offer it to anyone who needs it, with all the authority vested in me by whoever vests these things. Print it out if you need to.
The best art advice ever given to me—ever, ever—was “Don’t be afraid to make bad art.”
You will make a whole lot of crap in your time. Some will be truly awful and some will be merely mediocre. And that is totally normal and totally fine and for the love of little green apples, just keep going, because that’s the only way I know to get to the good stuff eventually.
(I normally feel horribly egotistical mentioning my awards, but I think this counts as using that power for good.)

:’D i feel better now

WE HAD THIS FAILING EXERCISE AT SCHOOL - after you don’t succeed very well with arting, make your most successful pose and with your most successful voice say “I FAILED” \ o /

I NEED THIS.
You’d think after hearing this enough times (and telling it to other people to encourage them) it would finally sink in, but…

The amount of unfinished sketches on my PC I’m afraid to share…
